PSALM 23
1 « A Psalm of David. » The LORD is my shepherd, I shall
not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me
beside quiet waters. 3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of
righteousness For His name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod
and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the
presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. 6
Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my
life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Mal 3:6 "For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob,
are not consumed.
I’ve had the following in my Illustrations
file for years.
SOME THINGS WON’T CHANGE!
1. The Bible will still have all the answers.
2. Prayer will still work.
3. The Holy Spirit will still work through the Word.
4. God will still inhabit the praises of His people.
5. Truth will still be preached.
6. There will still be singing of praise to God.
7. God will still pour out blessings upon His people.
8. There will still be room at the Cross.
9. Jesus will still love you.
10. Jesus will still save the lost in accordance with His word.
11. There will still be an eternity.
12. There will still be a peace the passes understanding.
13. There will still be a heaven.
14. There will still be a hell.
15. There will still be a God who changes not.
THESE THINGS MATTER! It kinda set a bigger PERSPECTIVE doesn’t it?
ISN ' T IT GREAT TO KNOW WHO IS REALLY IN CONTROL!
My Prayer:
O God, you who does not change, accept our praise and love. You only are
the unchangeable
Rock. We rest in you. Our lives are troubled in these times, but
our strength and hope are in you! Help us to make each day worth
something. Draw us nearer to you as we wait upon you!
Help us in our prayers, our thoughts, our discipline, our reading of your word,
and our conscious efforts to serve and love each other. Father God, bless and
comfort my brothers and sisters.
In Jesus name... Amen
Ps 25:5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my
salvation;
For You I wait all the day.
